Department of Chemistry is one of the strongest departments of our college. This department, since its inception of science faculty, plays a leadership role in teaching, evaluation, administration, research and extension work. The Department of Chemistry has a separate building with spacious, well equipped Laboratories, separate cabin for the Head of the Department, seating arrangement for teaching staff and non teaching staff. The department is proud of our U.G. and P.G. students who take constant efforts for competitive examinations. Recently, five students of our department have successfully cleared NET, SET and GATE examinations. Department of Chemistry is in pursuit of excellence in Higher education, our one faculty member is Research Guide and actively involved in research activities which are reflected in Publication in the Journals of National and International repute. This department has 17 M.Phil. and 18 Ph.D. Scholars at its credit. The department is proud to have 151 research papers are at its credit. All faculty members are actively involved in extension activities, faculty members of our department plays the leading role in College and university administration, specially syllabus framing and prestigious committees.
